New Vendors

  1. Apply via our website

  2. Receive your LocalStalls login details

  3. Upload your documents and payment details

  4. Select the dates you wish to attend

  5. Payment is processed once approved

  6. An invoice is emailed with 7 days to pay.

    ⚠️ Please only select dates you can pay IN FULL upon approval.

Existing Vendors

βœ” Log in via the LocalStalls Mobile App or website
βœ” Select your market dates
βœ” Confirm payment details
βœ” Submit your application for approval

Credits are automatically deducted from the invoice BEFORE payment.

βœ” All future bookings are managed through your LocalStalls account

βœ” First bookings must be paid within 7 days of invoice date, or no later than 7 days before the event, whichever comes first
βœ” Future bookings are automatically charged upon approval
βœ” Any available credits are applied BEFORE payment is processed
βœ” Part payments are not accepted
βœ” Multi-date Discounts available when prepaying 3 or more bookings

⚠️ Hot food, dessert and beverage spaces are limited and carefully curated to avoid double-ups.

βœ” Weights or pegs (compulsory)

βœ” Bins and rubbish bags

⚠ Marquees must be weighted or pegged before setup begins.

πŸŽͺ Food Vendor Requirements

βœ” No power supplied onsite
βœ” Vendors must supply their own quiet generator (50–60dB recommended)
βœ” Generators should be screened from public view where possible
βœ” Trucks and trailers must provide levellers for uneven ground
βœ” Food vendors must remove all rubbish from site

Food Licences

βœ” Trucks and trailers may trade with any Queensland Council Food Licence
βœ” Food gazebos require the appropriate local Council Food Licence
βœ” Food gazebos require floor covering/canvas

Coffee Vendors

βœ” Must remove all coffee grounds and liquid waste

Pre-Packaged Food

βœ” Labels must clearly show origin and product details where required

πŸŽͺ Important Site Rules

⚠️ DO NOT SET UP ANYTHING UNTIL YOU HAVE MOVED YOUR CAR

βœ” Unpack everything at your stall location first, then move your vehicle before setting anything up
βœ” Drive slowly (maximum 8 km/h) with hazard lights on
βœ” Read every bump-in email carefully as details do vary at every event
βœ” Vendors and staff must not park in designated customer parking areas

πŸŽͺ Behaviour Expectations

βœ” Respect staff, vendors and customers at all times
βœ” Follow all bump-in and parking directions
βœ” Aggressive, rude or disruptive behaviour will not be tolerated

Failure to follow event rules may result in removal from the event and/or future booking restrictions.

πŸŽͺ Rubbish & Clean Up

βœ” Bring your own bins and rubbish bags
βœ” Take ALL rubbish with you

⚠️ Do not use Market bins onsite. These are for customers ONLY.

Market staff empty these bins and additional $50 cleaning fee may apply if vendor rubbish is left behind or found in Market Bins.

πŸŽͺ Restricted Items

The following items are not permitted:
❌ Second-hand goods
❌ Counterfeit goods
❌ Illegal products
❌ Unapproved free giveaways that conflict with existing vendors

πŸŽͺ Liability

Vendors are responsible for any damage caused to:
βœ” Equipment
βœ” Property
βœ” Grounds or venue areas

Please ensure your Public Liability Insurance remains current in your LocalStalls account at all times.

πŸŽͺ Cancellations, Credits & Refunds

If a market proceeds and you choose not to attend:
❌ No credit applies

If you cancel due to holidays, other events or change of mind:
❌ No credit applies

If the organisers cancel an event due to weather, venue issues or Council direction:
βœ” A credit may be applied to your LocalStalls account

Credits:
βœ” Are applied automatically to future approved bookings
βœ” Expire after 3 months unless otherwise agreed
βœ” Are not transferable
βœ” Refunds are not provided unless authorised by management

πŸŽͺ Why We Use a Credit Policy

Significant event costs are paid upfront before every market, including:
βœ” Park hire fees
βœ” Environmental Permits
βœ” Advertising
βœ” Street & Freeway VMS Signage
βœ” Entertainment, Staffing and wages
βœ” Insurance and WorkCover
βœ” Processing fees and administration

When an event is cancelled due to circumstances outside our control, a 50%>100% credit may be applied depending on the unrecoverable costs already incurred for that individual event.

This policy helps us continue operating markets fairly and sustainably for all vendors and the wider community.
