Mingle Morning Markets – Yarrabilba
Council Approved - Commencing January 2026
We are pleased to confirm that Mingle Morning Markets will be launching in Yarrabilba, having now received our permit approval from Council.
The market is planned to commence in January 2026 and will operate on the 4th Sunday morning of each month.
What We’re Seeking
Mingle Morning Markets is keen to focus on fresh, quality produce and essential food items for household shopping.
We are seeking:
Fresh fruit and vegetables
Meat and poultry
Seafood
Bakery items
Eggs and dairy
Honey
Local growers and producers
Specialty food producers (sauces, preserves, spices, herbs)
Flowers, Plants and seedlings
A small number of breakfast vendors and coffee will be selected to complement the market offering.
To maintain the farmers market focus, large food trucks and general retail stalls will not usually be accepted, unless they clearly complement the event.
Category limits will apply to ensure variety and avoid duplication.
About the Community
Yarrabilba is a rapidly growing community in South East Queensland, with a mid-2025 population estimate exceeding 16,000 residents, and thousands more moving into the area each year. Despite this growth, the suburb is currently serviced by only one supermarket and a high concentration of fast-food outlets, leaving residents with limited access to fresh produce and quality food options.
For more than 10 years, our established Mingle Night Markets have enjoyed strong local support, with ongoing community feedback consistently requesting a dedicated fresh produce and farmers-style market.
Community Atmosphere
We will provide free games, music, umbrellas, tables, seating and picnic rugs, creating a relaxed and family-friendly Sunday morning atmosphere.
There are also opportunities for:
Local school groups or dance schools to perform
Morning wellness activities such as Local Sports groups, Zumba, Tai Chi or other movement-based instructors
